an audio drama release
Hey guys,
Quick update here, as over the last several days, I figured out the release for the audio drama SAFE SOCIETY. The first 3 episodes are available now for free, on all the major audio platforms. Each subsequent week, 2 more episodes will release, until all 11 are out.
But on Apollo+ (the subscription service of Apollo Podcasts, an app dedicated to audio fiction), the FULL SERIES IS ALREADY AVAILABLE… without ads/interruptions… and also as a supercut (all episodes back-to-back). Subscribing also gets you access to a number of other shows, many of which have exclusive content.
Here’s your link rundown:
safesociety.world — home site.
All info. Links to listen. Credits are listed (and also on IMDb).
Safe Society is The Anti-establishment Audio Drama. Small picture — it’s satirizing mainstream social trends. Big picture — it’s about mass indoctrination/psychosis. Done in entertaining fashion. Nods to horror. Maybe more Brave New World than Nineteen Eighty-Four… but “Nineteen Eighty-Four, but today” is catchy to say.direct link to the AI visual trailer.
If you like it, please share it! It’s better to send directly to your contacts, rather than put on social media (unless you typically get great engagement)… but posts can’t hurt either.
In addition to the trailer link, include the home site, and one of the below platforms to listen on. If you want to tag me: IG, LinkedIn (I never use FB/X, but I’m there)listen on Apple Podcasts — this is the big one. Apple users, it’d be much appreciated if you leave a rating and review, and have your contacts do so. Others, you could leave a rating and review on one of these:
YouTube Music — don’t like the functionality of this, but it’s accessible to many
You can share individual episodes from any of those free platforms.
Apollo+ for $9.99/month
The founders are cool guys working day jobs, putting the app together as a side project to help the audio fiction community. Check out their own series Earth Eclipsed — they have a snazzy site, and they got a number of awards some years ago. They were working in Hollywood/Hollywood-adjacent, and they found that they couldn’t leverage the project into bigger movie prospects, so they double-downed on this world.
70% of the revenue Apollo+ pulls in goes to the community of Apollo+ creators. There’s a good chance this is better than the pennies they normally get from ads in their Apple/Spotify/RSS feed.
As always, feel free to forward this email to anyone you know who'd like it, so they have the chance to subscribe.
If you’re seeing my scrapbook for the first time, you can subscribe here to keep getting it.
